My Story
I founded Redbird Counseling and Consulting to be the kind of space I wish more people had greater access to—a place where you don’t have to pretend you’re fine, minimize your struggles, or feel judged for how you’ve been coping.
I work with women, active duty military and veterans, first responders and adults who are carrying invisible weight: trauma that hasn’t been spoken, stress that never lets up, or substance use that started as a way to survive but now feels like a trap.
In my 15 years as a therapist and treatment provider, I've worked with people who’ve been through a lot — folks carrying trauma, using substances to cope, or trying to figure out who they are after life has shaken them up.
I’ve seen how easy it is to feel invisible in your pain, to think you have to keep it all together, or that asking for help means you’re weak (you're not!).
I believe in showing up with honesty, compassion, and zero judgment. I believe you’ve been surviving the best way you know how. And I believe healing doesn’t have to look perfect to be real and sustainable.
I believe that my role is to help you honor the strength it took to get this far, while creating new ways of living that feel more whole, safe, and connected. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and the healing that can take place through that alliance.
